I would like to thank everyone on vivigeek.com – for your support of LOOP PLANES as well as your cast and crew submissions. Already, this has been such an extraordinary experience.
I also want to thank the amazing people at ViviGeek and Killer Films, who have literally been working non-stop to make this dream a reality.
We recently secured a really cool amusement park near Waterbury, Connecticut. If you are from the area, I’d like to encourage you to apply as soon as possible, and for those of you who are not local, please let me know if you’re willing to travel. Also, due to the availability of the location, we will be filming in late August, which is why we have extended the deadlines for cast and crew submissions until July 15th.
The outpouring of interest in this project has been so exciting. We’ve already had close to 1,000 applicants! Though I haven’t been able to respond to everyone who has applied, I am looking at each and every submission, and reading all of your messages. I should add that I really appreciate the application messages because it allows me to get a sense of who you are and where your interests, experiences, and talents lie.
For crew submissions, it is tremendously helpful for me to review your resumes posted on the vivigeek.com website. If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to update the resumes on your profiles.
For cast submissions, please check out the sides–which are posted as PDF files under each specific character–then read for the role on camera and upload your audition video. That way I can really see you in action.
I truly believe that the success of every film lies in the talents of the cast and crew, so keep the submissions coming!
